1,450 Newly-Graduated Personnel Commissioned To Afghan Security Forces

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Aug 24 (NNN-ANA) – A total of 1,450 security personnel have been recently commissioned to the Afghan security forces, after receiving military training, a spokesman for the 205th al-Badar Army Corps said, on Thursday evening.

In the southern Kandahar province, the newly-trained personnel received three months of professional military and intellectual training, at a training centre in the 205th al-Badar Army Corps, and attended a graduation ceremony with the presence of Afghan caretaker government’s supreme leader, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, and officials of the Ministry of National Defence, said Nazir Ahmad Shakeeb, spokesman for the corps.

On Wednesday, 700 security officers took their certificates, after receiving three-month military courses at a training centre in the 203rd Mansouri Army Corps, based in eastern Paktia province.– NNN-ANA
