KABUL, Aug 18 (NNN-ANA) – A total of 23,693 drug users have recovered, after receiving medical treatment across Afghanistan, in the past 12 months, the country’s Ministry of Public Health said in a report, yesterday.
During the cited period, a total of 8.6 million children and mothers, have received vaccines, indicating a 15-percent surge, said ministry official, Sahibzada.
According to Sahibzada, the ministry collected 1,610 tonnes of outdated medicines, poor-quality items, and foodstuffs, and set them on fire across the country during the period.– NNN-ANA
