Development Projects Launched To Assist Economy In Afghanistan

KABUL, Aug 13 (NNN-ANA) – Afghan caretaker government’s Ministry of Public Work, has launched 468 development and maintenance projects, over the past 12 months, spokesman for the ministry, Ashraf Haqshenas, said yesterday.

Haqshenas said that, some of the projects have been completed, and more than 15,000 people have been employed, adding that, reconstruction of over 1,000-km of road was going on across the country.

The Afghan caretaker government has planned to launch more development and infrastructure projects, across the war-ravaged country, to tackle economic challenges and create job opportunities.– NNN-ANA
