NEW DELHI, Aug 12 (NNN-PTI) – Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, yesterday, released here, 109 varieties of crops that are high-yielding, climate-resilient and biofortified.
He said, these new varieties will be highly beneficial, as they will help reduce expenditure and have a positive impact on the environment.
Praising agricultural scientists for developing these new crop varieties, Modi stressed the benefits of natural farming, and the increasing demand for organic food in the country.– NNN-PTI
