TASHKENT, Aug 6 (NNN-UzA) – Uzbekistan maintained a high rate of population growth, with its population increasing by 200,000 people over the past three-and-a-half months, according to the state statistics agency.
Statistics showed that, as of yesterday, the country’s permanent population exceeded 37.2 million people.
On Apr 22 of this year, the statistics agency reported that, the permanent population of Uzbekistan surpassed 37 million people.
Uzbekistan is the most populous country in Central Asia, as its population reached 36 million in Dec, 2022.– NNN-UzA
