ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (NNN-APP) – A high-value terrorist was killed in an operation, conducted by security forces in Pakistan’s north-west Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, yesterday, the Pakistani military said in a statement.
The security forces conducted the intelligence-based operation in the North Waziristan district, on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said, in the statement.
The killed terrorist was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, including target killing and facilitation of suicide bombing, the statement added.
A clearance operation is being conducted, to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, the ISPR said.– NNN-APP
