YANGON, Jul 25 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar will hold an event, to mark International Youth Day, in the capital, Nay Pyi Taw on Aug 12, the state-run daily Myanma Alinn reported, yesterday.
The event will include activities such as youth forums, youth excursions and social works, the report said.
Yangon Region will send a delegation of 14 youths to participate in the event, the report said. In preparation for the International Youth Day, schools in the country have recently held essay competitions.
The country celebrated the International Youth Day in Nay Pyi Taw last year, which was attended by union ministers, deputy ministers, youth committee members and officials.– NNN-MNA
