KABUL, Jul 21 (NNN-ANA) – Afghanistan traded goods worth 994.2 million U.S. dollars from May 21 to Jun 20, the country’s National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) reported, yesterday.
Afghanistan exported goods worth about 93.3 million U.S. dollars, while importing goods worth 900.9 million U.S. dollars, during the period, the NSIA posted the report on social media.
The Afghan products were mostly exported to Pakistan, India and Iran, and the major sources of imports included Iran, Pakistan and China, the department added.
Fresh and dry fruits, including pistachio, pine nut, fig were among the most popular products for export in Afghanistan, according to the NSIA.– NNN-ANA
