MOSCOW, July 19 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) — Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed bin Salmán, in a telephone conversation, highlighted the high level of friendly relations between the two nations, the Kremlin reported.
The two parties gave a high assessment of the level of friendly relations achieved based on mutual respect and consideration of reciprocal interests, said Vladimir Putin in a statement released to the press this Thursday.
According to the note, Putin and Bin Salman, Saudi crown prince, mainly discussed cooperation in politics, commerce, and energy.
The Russian president and the head of the government of Saudi Arabia also advocated continuing the coordination of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries with its independent allies to stabilize the market. Both agreed to continue contacts at different levels.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the information from US media outlets that Iran may be involved in the attack against former President Donald Trump is a mediocre lie.
“How much can people lie and do it in such an infamous way,” the spokeswoman wrote this Thursday on her Telegram channel, commenting on the claims made by media outlets of the United States, and recalled that it was precisely the United States that eliminated Iranian state, political and public figures.
On July 16th, CNN reported that US authorities had been receiving information for several weeks that Iran was planning an attack against Trump.
Iran’s permanent mission to the UN later rejected accusations of being involved in the assassination attempt on Trump.
The delegation indicated that Iran considers the accusations unfounded and biased, notwithstanding, it also describes Trump as a criminal who must be tried and punished for ordering the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani in 2020. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
