Romanian gov’t sets presidential, parliamentary elections dates

BUCHAREST, July 6 (NNN-XINHUA) — The Romanian government has officially adopted the calendar for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.

The decision was adopted on Thursday in a meeting, according to government spokesman Mihai Constantin.

The first round of the presidential elections will be held on Nov 24, with the second round scheduled for Dec 8.

Parliamentary elections will take place on Dec 1, coinciding with Romania’s national holiday. — NNN-XINHUA
