Cuban customs officials seize liquid marijuana

HAVANA, May 31 (NNN-XINHUA) — Customs officers at the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana confiscated seven pots and an electronic cigarette containing liquid marijuana in recent days, said a report released by the General Customs of Cuba.

The report said the officers detected a passenger trying to smuggle the drug.

So far this year, a dozen cases of illegal drug trafficking have been detected at the Havana air terminal.

Cuban authorities maintain a policy of zero tolerance to drugs and traffickers, and cooperates with international organizations and agencies in charge of fighting drug trafficking. — NNN-XINHUA
