GAZA, Jun 24 (NNN-WAFA) – Five more Palestinians were killed, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in western Gaza City, Palestinian sources said, yesterday.
Palestinian security sources said that, Israeli aircraft struck the vocational college, affiliated with the UNRWA in Gaza City, in the north of the Gaza Strip with at least one missile.
The Israeli airstrike caused extensive damage to the college’s premises, destroying its outer wall and security rooms, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.
Medical sources said that, five more Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured, who were transported to the Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City.
No immediate comment was issued by the Zionist army, regarding the airstrike.
As of yesterday, the death toll of Palestinians has risen to 37,598, since the start of the conflict in Gaza in Oct, last year, said the health authorities in Gaza.
The regime’s Zionist Forces said in a statement yesterday that, its operational activity still continues in the southern and central Gaza Strip.– NNN-WAFA
