Indonesia Hosts Roadshow For 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo

JAKARTA, Jun 22 (NNN-ANTARA) – The 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo roadshow, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), was held here, yesterday.

The roadshow, aimed at providing a comprehensive introduction to the expo. Indonesian enterprises, professional buyers and people from various sectors were cordially invited to participate in the upcoming exhibition, to foster in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia, in the field of supply chain.

In a video speech, Zhang Shaogang, vice chairman of CCPIT, highlighted the significance of the supply chain expo, noting it as the world’s first national-level exhibition, dedicated to the theme of supply chain. He emphasised that, China is hosting the expo to establish an international platform that facilitates enhanced communication, deepened cooperation and mutual development among all participants.

“In the context of the current global economy facing many uncertainties and challenges, we are very much looking forward to further strengthening cooperation between Indonesia and China, in the field of supply chain through the second expo, and jointly promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative,” said Steven Siek, vice chairman of the Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneurs Association.

The second supply chain expo is scheduled to take place in Beijing from Nov 26 to Nov 30. In addition to ongoing exhibition areas for clean energy, smart vehicles, digital technology, healthy life, green agriculture and supply chain services, a new advanced manufacturing chain exhibition area will be introduced.– NNN-ANTARA
