HANOI, Jun 7 (NNN-VNA) – The National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam, yesterday, approved the appointment of Minister of Justice, Le Thanh Long, as deputy prime minister.
Long, born in 1963, has been serving as a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in the 12th and 13th terms. He has been the minister of justice since Apr, 2016.
Yesterday, the NA also elected Nguyen Thi Thanh, as NA vice chairwoman, and approved the proposal to appoint Luong Tam Quang, as minister of public security, all for the 2021-2026 term.– NNN-VNA
