SYDNEY, May 25 (NNN-AAP) – Two people have died and a third has been rushed to hospital, in critical condition, after a shooting incident yesterday, in the suburbs of Perth in Western Australia, local media reported.
A Western Australia Police spokesperson said, emergency services responded to reports of a firearm being discharged, at a home in Floreat, a residential suburb of Perth, at about 4:30 p.m. local time (0830 GMT), according to the Australian ABC News broadcaster.
Two people were found dead at the scene, and another person has been rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, under priority conditions.
The incident is now contained and there is no ongoing threat to the community, police said.
It is understood those involved are all known to each other, the PerthNow news website reported.
Neighbours said, a mother and her two adult daughters live at the address, according to the report.– NNN-AAP
