Soldier Killed In Israeli Missile Attack On Military Site In Southern Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria, May 28 (NNN-SANA) – An Israeli missile targeted a military position in Syria’s southern province of Quneitra, on Monday, killing a soldier and wounding another.

The Israeli missile hit a military site in the east of the town of Khan Arnabeh, in the countryside of Quneitra, according to a military statement.

It is not the first time that Israel has attacked Syrian sites in Quneitra, which is close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

On May 18, the Syrian air defences intercepted “strange objects” flying from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in southern Quneitra.

Israel has repeatedly targeted Syrian sites, which it claims, belong to Iran-backed militias, such as Lebanon’s Hezbollah.– NNN-SANA
