JAKARTA, May 14 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesia’s National Police have raided an illicit drug processing lab, in a villa on the country’s resort island of Bali, arresting three foreign nationals and an Indonesian national.
At a press conference yesterday, in Badung region of Bali province, Wahyu Widada, the National Police’s head of criminal investigation agency, told reporters that, the three foreign nationals were involved in controlling a clandestine lab in a villa in Badung region.
The raid was made early this month, said Widada, adding that, police were still searching for two other foreign suspects.
Officers have seized evidence from these suspects, including more than 15 kg marijuana and more than 600 grams of mephedrone (MD) narcotic drug.
The suspects allegedly violated the Narcotics Law and would face a maximum punishment of death penalty and a maximum fine of 10 billion Indonesian rupiahs (about 620,000 U.S. dollars).– NNN-ANTARA
