India Signs Deal With Iran To Operate Chabahar Port For 10 Years

NEW DELHI, May 14 (NNN-PTI) – The Indian government said, it has signed a 10-year contract with Iran, to develop and operate the Chabahar port.

India’s Federal Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, visited Chabahar in Iran yesterday, to witness the deal for the development of Shahid Beheshti port terminal in Chabahar.

The contract was signed between India Port Global Limited and Ports and Maritime Organisation of Iran.– NNN-PTI
