YANGON, May 10 (NNN-MNA) – Three people have been killed, after a vehicle overturned in southern Myanmar’s Ayeyarwady Region, yesterday, according to an official from a local rescue organisation, today.
The official, from Alinka Rescue Organisation, said that, the accident took place at around 3.00 p.m. local time, yesterday, and their rescue team participated in transporting the deceased.
The accident took place on the Yangon-Sarmalauk Road, in Maubin Township of Ayeyarwady Region, after a light truck carrying a coffin for a local funeral services organisation overturned, local media reported.
The cause of the accident was a tire blowout, the reports said, adding that, the deceased are all male.– NNN-MNA
