KUALA LUMPUR, April 25 (Bernama) — With strategic frameworks like the Green Technology Master Plan 2017-2030 (GMTP) and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), the government expects to attract investments of up to RM1.3 trillion, boost the gross domestic product (GDP) to RM220 billion, and create over 300,000 job opportunities by 2050.
As such, as one of the responses to the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the green economy, the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) is organising a three-day KESUMA Green Skills and Green Job Fair in Kuala Lumpur. The event, held in conjunction with the ASEAN Green Jobs Forum, aims to increase engagement and awareness while providing talents with the necessary skills to contribute effectively to the thriving green economy.
