Eight Killed In Saudi-Led Air Strike In South-Western Yemen

SANAA, Yemen, May 25 (NNN-SABA) – At least eight people, including four children, were killed on Friday, when a Saudi-led coalition air strike hit a petrol station in Yemen’s south-western province of Taiz, pro-government Almasdaronline news website reported.

Dozens of others were wounded in the air attack, which targeted the petrol station in Maweyah district, in the eastern part of Taiz, Almasdaronline said.

However, Houthi-controlled health authorities in the capital, Sanaa, said, the death toll had increased to 12.

There have been no comments yet from the Saudi-led coalition.

Last week, a coalition air strike hit a tall building in the centre of Sanaa, killing six family members, according to the residents and medics.– NNN-SABA
