NEW DELHI, Apr 3 (NNN-PTI) – Three school children aged between 12 and 14 years and one more person died, when a bus they were travelling in, overturned in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh yesterday, a local policeman said.
Three others were injured. Among the dead was the bus cleaner.
The mishap occurred in Barabanki area, near the state’s capital city of Lucknow. The school kids were on the way, returning from a local picnic after, visiting a zoological park in Lucknow.
“There were around 40 school students and six teachers inside the bus,” senior police officer, Jagat Ram, said.– NNN-PTI
