KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Bernama) —The Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia is committed to enhancing the number of medical specialists to fulfil the healthcare needs of our nation. In separate discussions between the Ambassador of Ireland to Malaysia, HE Orla Tunney, the Deputy High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Malaysia, Mr David Wallace and I, all parties agreed to fortify the ongoing partnerships between MOH and the involved institutions.
Pending the Cabinet’s decision on the proposed amendment to Act 50, MOH is also steadfastly dedicated to ensuring that individuals who have successfully completed their training under the Parallel Pathway programme will be eligible for registration as specialists under this act.
