HAVANA, March 17 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) — The Cuban government reiterated its commitment to continue strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation with its Canadian counterpart, on the 79th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The fact was highlighted by the Cuban Foreign Ministry in its account on the social network X, which details in other publications the good state of political ties and trade links.
Both nations maintain relations characterized by mutual respect and the constant search to expand joint business opportunities, especially in the energy, mining and tourism sectors.
Likewise, in the political sphere, the Cuban government has recognized on several occasions the traditional support of its Canadian counterpart in the UN General Assembly in favor of the lifting of the U.S. blockade against the island, which has lasted more than six decades. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
