HAVANA, Feb 25 (NNN-ACN) — A flight from the United States returned 51 irregular migrants to the island on Thursday.
The group included 46 men and five women, according to an announcement by the Cuban Interior Ministry (MININT).
According to the announcement a total of 88 Cubans have been returned by plane in two operations this year.
Another 20 Cubans were brought back to the island in January and February onboard commercial flights from the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas and the Dominican Republic.
In All, 243 irregular migrants have been returned in 19 air and maritime ops from those countries. — NNN-ACN
