DHAKA, Feb 21 (NNN-BSS) – Bangladeshi exporters have received spot orders worth 3.92 billion taka (around 35.62 million U.S. dollars) from international buyers at the Dhaka International Trade Fair.
It was five million dollars higher compared to the previous year, Bangladeshi State Minister for Commerce, Ahasanul Islam Titu, said, at the closing ceremony of the trade show.
As a yearly programme of the Bangladeshi government, the event was aimed at showcasing local products to foreign buyers.
A total of some 300 stalls, pavilions and mini pavilions were set up this year. Countries including China, India, Iran, Pakistan and Singapore participated in the fair.– NNN-BSS
