Venezuela and Cuba to further deepen bilateral cooperation

HAVANA, Feb 19 (NNN-ACN) — Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Venezuelan ambassador Orlando Maneiro expressed their governments’ willingness to further strengthen bilateral relations of cooperation and exchange during a meeting in Havana.

Rodriguez welcomed the Venezuelan diplomat at the foreign ministry, where they praised the excellent state of links between Caracas and Havana.

On his X account, the Cuban government official wrote that he reiterated Cuba’s unwavering support of the Bolivarian revolution.

In the year 2000, Cuba and Venezuela signed the Bi-National Integral Cooperation Accord on the initiative of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. The document established mutually beneficial agreements for the two nations in the areas of healthcare, economy, education, sports and culture. — NNN-ACN
