CAIRO, Egypt, May 20 (NNN-MENA) – An explosion hit, on Sunday, a tourist bus near the Grand Egyptian Museum, near the capital Cairo, injuring 14 people, official Ahram Online news website reported.
However, the number of the injured has not been announced by the Egyptian authorities.
State-run Nile TV said, the blast damaged the glass windows of a civilian car and the bus, which carried 25 tourists from South Africa.
Egypt has been fighting against a wave of terror activities that killed hundreds of policemen and soldiers, since the military toppled former Islamist President, Mohamed Morsi, in July 2013, in response to mass protests against his one-year rule and his currently blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood group.– NNN-MENA
