VIENTIANE, Feb 10 (NNN-KPL) – Laos’ Ministry of Health, pledged to work with other ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, to enhance health security and resilience through improved biosafety and biosecurity.
Representatives of health sectors from Laos and other ASEAN countries, met in the Lao capital, Vientiane, to report on the progress of their activities and share future plans, the ministry said, yesterday.
Lao Minister of Health, Bounfeng Phoummalaysith addressed the meeting.
The meeting was held from Tuesday to Wednesday.– NNN-KPL
