HAVANA, Feb 2 (NNN-ACN) — The national coordinator of the Cuban Committees for the Defense of the Revolution grassroots organization (CDR) Gerardo Hernandez Nordelo and China’s ambassador to Cuba Ma Hui signed a collaboration accord in Havana to undertake a joint community project here.
On X, Hernandez Nordelo said that the accord will allow develop projects in Cuban neighborhoods.
According to the website of the CDR organization Hernandez Nordelo and Ma Hui addressed bilateral relations between China and Cuba and expressed their intention to further advance such links.
Ma Hui expressed his rejection of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba and noted that solidarity is one of the best solutions to avoid the US siege; he said that Cuba can always count on China.
Gerardo appreciated the support given by the Chinese diplomat and recalled the historic bonds of friendship between the two nations and added that the CDR organizations are willing to strengthen links with their Chinese counterparts, increase exchange on social construction and governance to the benefit of the two peoples. — NNN-ACN
