DAMASCUS, Syria, May 19 (NNN-SANA) – The Syrian air defences intercepted “strange objects” coming from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday.
The air defences were triggered in the southern region, in the Quneitra province, near the Golan Heights.
The incident came a day after it was reported that, the air defences, on Friday evening, intercepted “luminous objects” coming from Israel.
The Syrian army said that the air defences were triggered by “enemy targets” coming from the direction of the southern province of Quneitra.
Israel has repeatedly targeted Syrian sites, on the pretext that it was targeting sites belonging to Iran-backed militia, such as, the Lebanese Hezbollah group.– NNN-SANA
