KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26 (NNN-KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, announced yesterday that, it thwarted an attempt by a terrorist cell, to attack a Shiite place of worship.
Acting on surveillance and security tips, Kuwaiti security agents arrested three suspects, on charges of being associated with a terror group, a statement issued by the ministry was cited as saying.
The suspects, of Arab nationality, were referred to the Public Prosecution, as a prelude to taking legal action against them, the report said, without providing further details.– NNN-KUNA
