TOKYO, Jan 14 (NNN-NHK) – A volcano has erupted on a south-western Japanese island, the country’s weather agency said early today.
Japan’s Meteorological Agency said, a volcanic eruption occurred at 00:22 local time, on the island of Suwanosejima, in the south-western Japanese prefecture of Kagoshima.
The weather agency urged residents to stay alert.– NNN-NHK
