Afghan Caretaker Gov’t Provides Job Opportunities To Over 109,000 People In Nine Months

KABUL, Jan 7 (NNN-ANA) – The Afghan caretaker government has provided job opportunities to more than 109,000 people, over the past nine months, reported the state-run Bakhtar news agency, yesterday.

A total of 109,824 people have been employed in government departments and the private sector, Bakhtar quoted a statement of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, as saying.

Afghanistan has been suffering from poverty and a high rate of unemployment.

Deputy for the Ministry of Economy, Abdul Latif Nazari, said that, the government has been trying to create job opportunities, by launching development projects as part of efforts to alleviate poverty in the country.– NNN-ANA
