YANGON, Dec 30 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar authorities have seized 10.12 kilograms of heroin worth over 253 million kyats (about 120,476 U.S. dollars), in the central region of Mandalay, said the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC).
Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotic police searched a vehicle on Dec 24, in Pyigyidagun township of Mandalay and confiscated the drug.
Investigation revealed that the drug was being trafficked from Shan state to Mandalay region, the committee said.– NNN-MNA
