11 Killed In Head-On Collision In North Nigeria: Police

ABUJA, Dec 26 (NNN-NAN) – Eleven people were killed, Saturday, when two cars they were travelling in, collided head-on in northern Nigeria, police said.

All occupants in the two vehicles died on the spot in the collision, in Kwanar Gujungu, a town in Taura local government area of Jigawa state, state police spokesperson, Lawan Shiisu, said Sunday.

He blamed the collision on speeding by the drivers of the two cars.

Deadly road accidents are frequently reported in Nigeria, often caused by overloading, bad road conditions, and reckless driving.– NNN-NAN
