COLOMBO, Dec 18 (NNN-XINHUA) – Sri Lankan security forces, yesterday, arrested 42 people, who were in possession of various narcotics and sharp weapons, the police announced.
A total of 156 police officers, 154 personnel of the army, and 16 officers of the Special Task Force, joined the special raid in a Colombo suburb, the police said, adding that, 625 individuals from 165 houses were searched.
