NEW DELHI, Dec 16 (NNN-PTI) – India’s overall exports in Nov were estimated to be around 62.58 billion U.S. dollars, up 1.23 percent year on year, according to data released by the federal Ministry of Commerce and Industry, yesterday.
Electronic goods exports registered a growth of 23.56 percent, at 17.74 billion dollars, during Apr-Nov, as compared to 14.36 billion dollars, in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the overall trade deficit during Apr-Nov improved by 38.79 percent, from 100.38 billion dollars last year, to 61.44 billion dollars during the same months this year.
Merchandise trade deficit also improved from 189.21 billion dollars in Apr-Nov, 2022, to 166.35 billion dollars, in Apr-Nov, 2023.– NNN-PTI
