ISLAMABAD, Dec 14 (NNN-APP) – Five people were killed and 10 others injured, when a passenger van collided with a truck, in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province, rescue teams said, today.
The incident happened in Bahawalpur district, last night, when the van driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a rickshaw that suddenly appeared on the road, the rescue teams told media.
As a result, the van hit a truck coming from the opposite direction, and the victims included people on board the van and its driver, the rescue teams added.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital, where several of them were said to be in critical condition.– NNN-APP
