JAKARTA, Dec 12 (NNN-Bernama) — Tourism Malaysia has once again been honoured with the title of National Tourism Organisation of The Year, achieving this prestigious recognition for the fourth time at the 14th Indonesia Travel & Tourism Awards (ITTA) 2023/2024.
The event, celebrating excellence in the Indonesian tourism sector, took place at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in Central Jakarta on Monday night.
Tourism Malaysia Jakarta director Junus Suhid received the award at the ceremony, attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.
Organised by the ITTA Foundation, a non-governmental organisation committed to advancing the Indonesian tourism industry, this award acknowledges outstanding contributions in various segments of the sector.
“The recent success of Tourism Malaysia adds to victories in 2019, 2021, and 2022,” said Junus.
In line with this recognition, he expressed his joy and emphasised the commitment to maintaining high standards and building a strong brand.
“This award inspires us to work harder and continue contributing to the Indonesian market while further enhancing the quality of services in this sector,” he added.
