FARAH, Afghanistan, Dec 7 (NNN-ANA) – Police have discovered and smashed a drug lab in west Afghanistan’s Farah province, a statement by the provincial counter-narcotics police, said today.
Contrabands were discovered in the provincial capital, Farah city, recently and police found huge quantity of the objects used in manufacturing heroin, during search operations, the statement added.
Similarly, police detained a man and seized 10 kg of material used in manufacturing heroin, in the eastern Nangarhar province, a couple of days ago.
Personnel of the counter-narcotics police have also discovered 123 kg of hashish, and arrested three individuals, on charges of involvement in the illegal business, in the eastern Paktia province, over the past week.– NNN-ANA
