Four Children Wounded As Box Exploded In Abandoned House In Bihar

NEW DELHI, Nov 29 (NNN-PTI) – Four children were wounded yesterday, in an accidental blast at an abandoned house, in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, police said.

The blast took place at Pahsara village, in Begusarai district, about 155 km east of Patna, the capital city of Bihar.

Six children were playing in Pahsara village when they went inside an abandoned house near the playground, to get the ball that went inside it, Yogendra Kumar, a senior police official in Begusarai said.

In the house, the children found a tightly closed box and then forcibly threw it onto the wall, which exploded and wounded four of them, Kumar added.

Police had rushed a bomb disposal squad and forensic experts team to the spot to ascertain the cause of the blast.– NNN-PTI
