DAMASCUS, Syria, May 12 (NNN-SANA) – The Syrian army has found Israeli weapons and medicine, left by the rebels in the southern Quneitra province.
The weapons were found stashed in formerly rebel-held areas in Quneitra, and were uncovered during the Syrian army’s search for land mines.
The rebels withdrew from Quneitra, which is close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, late last year, to rebel-held areas in north-western Syria.
The Syrian government has repeatedly accused the rebels of receiving support from the United States and Israel.– NNN-SANA
