ROME, Nov 11 (NNN-AGENCIES) — Italy will host next year’s Group of Seven summit in June at a luxury hotel that made its name for staging Justin Timberlake’s wedding, authorities announced Friday.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in a social media video that the summit would be held on June 13-15 at the Borgo Enazia hotel in the southern region of Puglia.
Italy takes over the presidency of the industrialised nations group — made up of the United States, Japan, Germany, Canada, Italy, France and Britain — on Jan 1.
Borgo Enazia is on the Adriatic coast between Bari and Brindisi. It staged the 2012 marriage of US pop star and producer Timberlake to the actress Jessica Biel. — NNN-AGENCIES
