VIENTIANE, Nov 10 (NNN-KPL) – Vietnam’s Green and Smart Mobility JSC (GSM), launched its pure electric taxi service yesterday, in the Lao capital, Vientiane.
According to a report, the service is under the brand name “Xanh SM.” Starting from yesterday, residents of the Lao capital and international tourists visiting Laos, will have a convenient way to book the electric taxi service through the Xanh SM Laos application.
Xanh SM Laos is planning to expand its operation in the country, and is expected to create thousands of new job opportunities for local residents, said the report.
In addition to providing high-quality, eco-friendly transportation services with zero emissions, GSM aims to stimulate the wide spread of electric vehicles (EVs), by developing a green mobility services ecosystem. This includes EV leases, and advanced services, such as, package car rental, travel, and personalised car rental, according to the report.– NNN-KPL
