Four Killed, Six Injured In Drone Attack In Southern Myanmar

YANGON, Nov 8 (NNN-MNA) – Four people were killed and six others sustained injuries, in a drop bomb attack on a field in southern Myanmar’s Bago region, yesterday, state-run daily, The Mirror, reported today.

According to the media report, the attack was carried out by the People’s Defence Force (PDF), on a field on the bank of Sittaung River, near Tanawkyun village, in Waw township of Bago region, at around 2:15 p.m. local time yesterday.

The deceased included four males, while the injured included five males and one female, the report said.

The injured were sent to the Waw township station hospital, it said.

Security personnel were taking necessary measures to reinforce territorial security and control in the area, it said.– NNN-MNA
