The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, in the Khyber district of the province, on the reported presence of terrorists, which led to the clash, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, in the statement.

During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which the three terrorists were killed and three more got injured, the ISPR added.
