ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (NNN-APP) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan, seized 43 kg of drugs in different operations across the country, said a statement.
The ANF spokesperson said yesterday that, the force conducted five operations in different parts of the country and arrested four culprits.
According to the official, the seized drugs include hashish, Ice, heroin and cocaine, which were being transported within the country and abroad.
Two of the arrested persons were attempting to take drugs out of the country, but they were arrested at two different airports.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused under the anti-narcotics law, while further investigations are under process, added the official.
On Wednesday, Pakistan’s ANF announced that, it had seized over 1.6 tonnes of drugs and arrested 89 people, last week.– NNN-APP
