KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 (NNN-BERNAMA) – Malaysian aviation group, AirAsia X, announced yesterday that, it has recorded 80 percent passenger load factor in the third quarter, up by seven percentage points, year-on-year.
AirAsia X said in a statement that, its capacity also surged over nine times, year on year, to 1.01 million seats during the quarter.
This performance came on the back of a 10 times year on year increase, in the number of passengers, with over 807,000 passengers carried in the third quarter, compared to nearly 80,500 passengers in the same period last year.
Flight frequency soared to 114 flights per week, by the end of the third quarter, compared to 23 flights during the end of the same period last year.– NNN-BERNAMA
