KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) — The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) successfully held its inaugural large-scale Malaysian Financial Planning Day (MFPD) in conjunction with the National Financial Literacy Month on Saturday, 21st October 2023 at Securities Commission Malaysia. The event which is a fully funded initiative by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) was officiated by Datin Azalina Adham, Managing Director of Securities Commission, Malaysia.
In collaboration with the Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia, MFPD is set to be a Career Fair platform where youths are exposed to potential employers in the Financial Planning industry. The programme includes a series of presentations and one-to-one sessions that served as a guide for youths to pursue a career as a financial planner. The programme increased participants’ financial literacy through a series of talk sessions conducted by experts.
